Maryland Quilter goes on a field trip to the southwest

Yes, I’m an eastern girl, but variety is the spice of life and the southwest has amazing colors and patterns. My field trip started with a bit of browsing in Etsy fabric shops for Mexican and southwest prints. One of the best sellers in my shop is this little quilt called “ojo de dios” which is an Alexander Henry print:

I decided to add a few more southwest tied quilts for a bit of selection and because they are very fun to make and a great excuse to browse fabric stores. I went a bit overboard. My original plan to make “a few” more turned into 8 more because I went a bit bananas when I discovered all the really nice prints available. So here are some of the new quilts for sale in the shop with American Indian and southwest themes:
